In this research, I attempted to verify and refine the measurement tool through field work.The field work was carried out from March to July 2007 at one of the hospitals where data was collected in development of the original measurement tool. Data included observation of the organization and unstructured interviews, mainly at three wards, which have different nursing styles from each other. Obtained data was analyzed by the qualitative - inductive method to extract artifacts and basic underlying assumptions. Result of the analysis was compared with cultural characteristics shown by the measurement tool, and proved consistent.
